Eating Disorders

These disorders are common on fast food,diet,and image pressure culture.The in-Satisfaction with the body and the diets usually take us to gain bad habits that could be dangerous for our health.Sometimes these habits end up in eating disorders.Their are three different type's of eating disorders.

  • Anorexia nervosa is a psychiatric illness that describes an eating disorder characterized by extremely low body weight and body image distortion with an obsessive fear of gaining weight. Individuals with anorexia are known to control body weight commonly through the means of voluntary starvation, purging, excessive exercise or other weight control measures such as diet pills or diuretic drugs. While the condition primarily affects adolescent females approximately 10% of people with the diagnosis are male. Anorexia nervosa, involving neurobiological, psychological, and sociological components is a complex condition that can lead to death in severe cases.


  • Bulimia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by recurrent binge eating, followed by compensatory behaviors. The most common form—practiced by more than 75% of people with bulimia nervosa—is self-induced vomiting, sometimes called purging; fasting, the use of laxatives, enemas, diuretics, and over exercising are also common. Bulimia nervosa was named and first described by the British psychiatrist Gerald Russell in 1979.

The most Disorders that Woman have is eating compulsively based on emotions.Here are some questions for you that will help you analyze your eating disorders.

  • Do you have Anxiety problems?

  • Do you have Depression problems?

  • Do you eat based on you'r emotions?

  • What make's you eat more than your supposed to ?

  • Whats making you eat the wrong food?
